Day 2 of the Georgia Peach Nationals featured cool overcast skies and hot racing on the BMX track. Four classes of racing ran 2 motos and a main. In the 5 year old class Jesse McFarland jumped out to an early lead and motored his way to the stripe. The best dressed racer at the event was none other than Harley Jackson. Her gear included a pink helmet, pink skirt and pink Strider No-Pedal PREbike. She rocked her outfit with a long black shirt and long black pants.
The 4 year old class included 8 hard charging racers. This was the second day for these Strider Cup racers and you could tell the difference in their confidence, balance and ability to complete the course. At the start of the race we had a tight group of racers hit the bottom of the table top and zoom off. By the first turn JoJo Zolikoff had taken the point with Aiden Gilbert in hot pursuit. Aiden pressured JoJo throughout the race waiting for a slip or bauble but JoJo motored all the way to the finish line for his win.
In the 3 year old class Avery Whitlow took the win. And in the 2 year old class Lilani Pringle showed fearlessness on the hills as she giggled her way to the win.
The Strider Cup and Strider World Cup Events are play experiences designed to let toddlers and young kids age 18 months to 5 years old explore the world on TWO wheels.
